About The Authors
Dr. Robert Gordon is a forensic psychologist and attorney. He is founder and director of the Wilmington Institute of Trial and Settlement Sciences. He has provided consultation and help train witnesses to give truthful, credible and persuasive testimony in many celebrated trials.
Dr. Gordon served as Chair of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. He is a past president of the Texas Psychological Association. His work in building the bridge between behavioral sciences and law was recognized by the Psychological Foundation in the granting him the Distinguished Psychologist Award.

The Wilmington Institute Network provides trial and settlement science services in State and Federal forums, as well as assisting international clients with domestic cases. The Institute's dispute resolution labs in Dallas and Houston provide hi-tech, ADR courtroom environments with innovative information systems.
Dr. Gordon is author of "On the Witness Stand" and the chief research scientist in designing "The Likeable Witness Scales." He has testified as an expert witness in hundreds of cases over the period of his career.

Dr. Gordon lives in Dallas and Houston Texas with his wife Susan who is a creative arts teacher. The Gordon's have two children. Ami Gordon who is a practicing attorney in San Antonio and is married to Scott Henslee who is a dermatologist. The Gordon's son, Adam is a language teacher who is on a year's sabbatical teaching in Japan.
